I have never understood why coaches teach the O-lineman to remain set when the defense jumps offside. I understand that the thinking is to do away with any doubt of a false start but damn. This tactic can potentially get your QB destroyed which happened to Tyler Russell. It also eliminates the opportunity of a "free play", because there is no way the QB will have time to get a pass off down field.
