Watching the NFL combine and Jacoby Ford from Clemson ran a 4.27.........

Chris Johnson ran a 4.24 a couple years ago........Dixon has his turn today.........I'm anxious to see what McCluster's 40 is as well.............Snead will work out today as well.........Shay Hodge ran a 4.57..........I think Dixon beats that time but we'll see.........

Basically they don't let great or bad numbers at the combine influence their decision too much. They watch a lot of game tape and evaluate the player while actually playing. Mayock was knocking Jordan Shipley from Texas, saying his time wasn't good. But if you watched any Texas games, he seemed plenty fast enough to play in the NFL. He seems to have game speed.

believe they said 10'1" - most seem to be averaging about 9'8" - 9'9" so he should be near the top
