I might be OK with that attitude if we were the YMCA, but we're not.

There is another MB that I post on and one of the posters honest to God told me that MSU was as good as Ole Miss because we beat them twice in Oxford.

I guess that's going to be the sheep party line after today.

They are opposite LSU and I'm pretty sure Manieri will probably pitch Louis Coleman against them, so they'll probably start out 0-1

...Polk is the biggest villain in MSU sports history, and we have his name on our stadium and fans who love him. He worked for college baseball while drawing a paycheck from us. Most of the people on this board could see it since OM began hosting regionals, but you have too many fans like Cowbell9 who coddle him and who talk about how our program is better than theirs because "they have nothing to show for it" which is the biggest bunch of crap. They have added an SEC co-championship and are about to add a trip to Omaha to that resume.

I am so disgusted and have been all week to watch this. But the silver lining is that cowbell9 and his ilk of idiots will have to shut up and admit that they are leagues better than us and that their boy Polk destroyed our program.

He deserves the accolades for what he accomplished until 1997. However, he clearly did not care to compete much as a recruiter or coach after 2002 at MSU.
