somebody, mainly fishwater, tell me again how a 6'9" shot blocker has no future in the NBA.

He's fun to watch when he finds the rhythm. Ray Allen isn't a bad shooter either.

Even though the Celtics are missing Garnett, the Bulls are giving the Celtics a run for their money. I may start watching the NBA again. I admit my Bulls bias but I was a fan all the way back in the Reggie Theus/Artis Gilmore days, not a bandwagon Jordan era fan.

I do think the Bulls have sort of the same curse the Bears do. They haven't had a good 5 since Gilmore, much like the Bears haven't had a decent QB since McMahon.

And yes, I still don't care for Noah either.

mainly because i don't get it. the rockets-blazers game is on nbatv tonight. i guess the rockets bitchslapped them so hard in game one, they thought it would be cruel to put it on TNT. that, or they wanted to show kobe & co. beat the hell out of the okur-less jazz, which they'll undoubtedly do.

i hate the jazz. but i really hate the lakers. and i hate joakim noah, too, even though he provided the best draft photo op ever:
