Watching this weekend series against WCU, who is ranked #31 in one poll, I think

we are definitely going to do more than compete this year. Very good pitching and defense will carry you a long way in college ball and we look to have enough bats through the lineup to do some damage as well.

Seeing us play three solid games against a quality opponent to start the season is really making me confident. Not wooly, just confident. I can't wait to see what we look like in April.

The good news there is, if he doesn't get it together pretty soon, we'll put another good pitcher out there.

I'd add lindgren to the worry list too. Really need both these guys to get where we want to get.

Oh and our batters need to cut way down on strike outs. We aren't a power team, so k's shouldn't be a problem.
