Announcer said WJ 4* OL Bill Cooley who’s been committed to LSU may be in play for us. Would be a good pickup. WJ JR receiver Watson is a stud. Leads state in receiving yards and touchdowns. No idea where he’s going but we need to get in on him. Hattiesburg 4* receiver is also an LSU commit. He’d be a good one to get in on too if we can.

What we need is for the LSU and Auburn coaching searches to drag on as long as possible. The more it appears they're struggling to land a big name hire the less comfortable these potential recruits and transfers are going to feel committing to these programs. Could be a huge portal haul if the Tigers botch this.
Both of those are overrated. Cooley is just big. I’m not so sure about his body. Watson isn’t fast enough, and doesn’t have have consistent hands or route running at the moment.
In order to get over the hump and have the starting talent we need next year we need to bring in more portal guys than freshman. Not saying don't sign young guys, but it looks like we are going to hit the portal on a regular basis for WR's and OL. Lebby seems to be good at getting us Wr's. Let's hope the OL comes along.
