thing to say about State. By all accounts the turnout was great, it looked good on tv, State played a very good game against a MUCH better team, and the game itself was fantastic. Hell, there was even a "star player being punished" storyline to make us all feel good. Ha.
But no, because of the cell phone incident and the bottles, State comes off looking second rate. Unfortunate, but a few bad apples...

Mr Slive.. this is what happens when you let **** like that happen at the end of the game and hand it to KY. I freaking knew..KNEW..that **** was coming in OT. should have turned it off and saved the frustration.

That is exactly the thought I had. Impressive showing with the colors. Team played well. But the constant reminder of the texting and the bottles ruined it all.
With all that said though, it does not matter. Even with out those incidents, people around the conference and the nation will not have anything positive to say about State. Especially around the conference.
So for tomorrow and a few days after, it will be a sore subject for State. However, in the grand scheme of things, it makes no difference.

especially on national tv? Yeah we lost the game and could have won with some equal officiating but, the thing that stands out now is all the **** with Cousins' cell phone number, and then the bottle throwing. They could end that crap if students were expelled for an amount of time if caught.
The short sided bottle thrower doesn't get that EVERY SEC coach will be in the living room of your recruits showing that church going mother the hate mail, the racist texts, and the water bottles throwing from his laptop. 'Why would you subject your fine,Christian, young son to that, Ms. Jones?' It will not be THE reason you lose some, but it will be A reason. You gotta know these things.
