Nomad has tweeted his analysis of 141 (to the extent that X has been functioning today). Due to the problems that X is encountering, I can't post tweets at this time. However, he has 141 at NCAAs as:
1. Beau
2. Happel
3. Hardy
4. Mendez
5. Koderhandt
6. Vombaur
7. Jamison
etc. (I can't see beyond that)
Just saw coaches rankingsTrying to figure that out.
Bartlett won head to head, better win percentage and coaches ranking?
Damn, I could have sworn I saw Ramos lose on Saturday. But maybe I'm misinterpreting, as Lilledahl has 2 Ls on the season (Peterson & McCrone).
How accurate are these? From what I understand there is some discretion when guys are seeded next to each other. For example if the computer has one guy seeded 1st and another guy seeded 2nd, and the second seeded guy beat the first seeded guy.
I haven't seen anything. Unless he's left out of the bracket tonight (highly doubtful), I doubt we know anything until middle of next week.Do we know Barr’s status?
He will definitely be seeded tonight. Cael's next news conference is set for next Monday. However, unless there is a zero percent chance Barr can wrestle (which I do not believe to be the case), I would expect the update to be vague but positive. The only thing worse than a hurt wrestler going into nationals is a hurt wrestler whose opponents know both how much he's hurt and what it is that's hurting.I haven't seen anything. Kerk will not be #2. He'll be behind Steven and Hendrickson, at a minimum.I put together my predictions for tonight (albeit with some middling):

Predicting where each Penn State starter will be seeded in the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championship brackets
Penn State wrestlers will learn their bracket seeds tonight for the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships. Here's where they could end up.www.on3.com
Afternoon, Bruce. As always, appreciate the feedback!Kerk will not be #2. He'll be behind Steven and Hendrickson, at a minimum.
And saying that SVN, Barr, and Davis could be just about anywhere in the top 10 seeds is silly. SVN should be either the #3 (likely) or #4 seed.
Barr is unlikely to be better than #6. The best Davis could do is #5, but #6 may be more likely.
Yeah, my being left out part was purely because they already know he's out. If there's a 0.00001% chance he can go, he'll be in it.He will definitely be seeded tonight. We know the formula:Afternoon, Bruce. As always, appreciate the feedback!
I do think Kerk will be No. 2, but Hendrickson absolutely could be. Some may even suggest he absolutely will be, but without knowing the formula used and how much it weighs the final coach rankings vs. other things, I should have included it on the first go-around and have updated the wording accordingly.
On the second paragraph, yes, I certainly could have worded the top 10 part better, so updated that. However, we are in the same ballpark in terms of the range of possibilities for those three, if I'm reading your post correctly.
Wyatt won't be a head of Stevenson. We know the formula:
Head to head 25
Quality wins 20
Conference tournament placement 15
win% 10
common opponent 10
Coaches rank 10
RPI 10
There's a little wiggle room allowed. Hendrickson will be ahead of Steveson because Steveson doesn't have an RPI. I highly suspect they will still put Gable at 1 (and they should). Trephan also comes out ahead of Kerk which would make Kerk #4. I suspect, if they aren't idiots, that they'll make sure Gable and Kerk are on opposite sides of the bracket so if they leave Gable at 2, Kerk will be 4 and if they put Gable 1, Kerk will be 2 or 3.
hmmm. I don't remember where I saw it, but yeah, this seems right. QW is 7-6 for Gable so close...Wyatt won't be a head of Stevenson.
Head thrown out
Gable quality wins (i would assume)
Conference placement thrown out
Winning percentage thrown out
Common opponents thrown out
Gable ranking

Maybe this is where I saw it. Been following the convo on rivals. Good stuffQuality Wins most likely goes to Hendrickson. He had 1 more overall, and several more in the 2nd tier. (Steveson had obviously the best win in Kerk.) That gives the 1 to Hendrickson.
Kerk gets the 4 behind unbeaten conference champ Trephan.
That's the math. Committee could overrule it, and should -- but if they make Steveson the 1, then they should also make Kerk the 3. Overrule or not, either way, they should be on opposite sides of the bracket.
BTW, HWT exposed some flaws in the math here. No way Trephan is better than Kerk -- objectively speaking, he transferred to Lehigh during this season because he lost wrestleoffs to Trumble.
Lucas Byrd is the top seed at 133.
