Not even close who has had the better year between Carter and Dax.......and it's not Carter. I do agree that Phillip starts next year at PG.

i like the idea of having 2 point guards on the court. i also think think the offense has been best with 3 guards - tarik, carter, and paige - on the court. maybe huggs starts dax with tarik and jevon. but i doubt it.

who do you see at the 5

Phillip
Miles
Ahmad
Adrian
Macon

First off the bench are Carter and West

2nd unit:

Bolden
Carter
West
Bender
Watkins or Konate

Would love to redshirt Sagaba along with Harler

PressVirginia will live on next season. West is Holton 2.0 with a better shot

Macon and Adrian starting 4 and 5 is trouble waiting to happen. Need to make their run this year in March the tourney because next season feels like an NIT year.

Ok. Why?

Perhaps look at the positions as a whole, and the production that could/would come

From our PFs now, we get about 28 points a game. If Nate gets shots, up to 30.

Can the combo of Nate, Macon, West, Watkins, and Bender (and probably Konate) give WVU 30 points a game next season? And 20 rebounds? I see it

Adrian - 8pts, 4 rebounds (20 minutes)
Macon - 6pts, 5 rebounds (20 minutes)
West - 5pts, 4 rebounds (15 minutes)
Watkins - 3pts, 3 rebounds (10 minutes)
Bender - ? How well does he translate immediately? 6pts, 4 rebounds (15)

28 points, 20 rebounds

We will (hopefully) get something more than passing out of Esa Ahmad next season too

Until Devin Williams announces he is leaving early, he will be the starter. I know a few of you "think" you have the inside information, but nothing is official YET.

Just think of it as a Thought Experiment. That might help you out, or not.

And.......that's why I'm asking where the articles or quotes are that says Williams is walking out on senior night. I haven't read anything, but I don't spend 24/7 reading articles either. Something called a JOB.

That's why I said to treat it as a Thought Experiment.

Get it?

Do you get this.....Keaton claims that Devin is walking out on Senior Night. No evidence suggests that. I'm asking for his sources or information. I'm not in to hypotheticals that much....sorry.

Devin can stay or leave. You don't know what he'll do. Either way, it's a hypothetical.

We all think differently. Personally, I'm capable of processing both scenarios.

He already gave you his information, you just don't accept it.

Like I said, be a Thinker.

Who are some examples of players forgoing their senior season to go to Europe?

Maybe it's true about Devin. I wouldn't know, but it sure seems like forging a new path if he does it. Wouldn't European opportunities be there after next season? Is there a pressing matter that is calling him to go play over there asap?

So many experts... ...yet predicting the starters in both the last and the next game are out of your realm of knowledge.

Sure, guess next seasons.....

& by the way if he walks on Senior Night, that's going to open up a ton of questions and distractions to this team as it tries to make a run in the NCAAs. Huggs is not going to be elated to answer questions about Devin's future when he's trying to rally this group now. Announcing you're leaving early by walking out there like that would be unwise, in my opinion, and makes it clear you're concerned more about your own future.

Players announce they're going pro after the seasson. Even Kentucky and Duke's guys waited until after the season ended, and it was obvious their intentions were to go.

Only way I would allow this would be IF the player is an underclassman and has ALREADY received a degree. Then, I could see the logic behind it.

I agree. If he's just leaving early, without a degree, he shouldn't participate in Senior Night. That moment is a reward for players who stayed all four years, or until they graduated, imo.

I support Devin's decision, if that's the decision he makes, but imo, he forfeits the option to have senior night...but I'm not in charge and no one cares what I think.

i would never take anyone's post on a message board as anything more than a rumor. but greg hunter and caridi had a conversation on the radio that gave some credence to this particular rumor.

also, and possibly unrelated, there were some scouts at the ou game, not to mention jerry. it seemed to me that huggs and devin tried to showcase his skills, perhaps to the detriment of the team. bit of a backfire.

SEC...Done deal......;)

You keep posting this in reference to me in some way...... But I didn't even post on this board until two years after we moved to our current conference....

Posters like myself have said for nearly a year now that Devin was leaving early....just like we said over a year ago that the Classic was dead....

Devin not ready to leave. He must work on finishing around the basket
Next year starter: Williams,Adrian,Phillip, bolden, and miles. It will be difficult to keep Bolden from starting. He distributes the ball better than anyone presently on the team. Something we miss desperately.

A poster named MothmanWVU said it, around the time PITT/Syracuse left for ACC.

MountaineerWV is just confused, as usual.
