Wayne County HS is putting in Speed Turf. Several other high schools have it now. I'd prefer grass, but I don't have to cut it all summer and paint it in the fall. Any of you guys around a high school that has it? Is it worth $600k?

but it is being paid for by advertising contracts and donation committments. The District won't have a dime in it. The life of the turf is supposed to be around 12 years or so.
