Feeling sorry for you at the moment with all the high pitched screaming. Our girls need to settle down and go on a run and quiet that crowd.

They looked like they tired out in 4th maybe with a shorter recovery time and the tough LSU game. Other than previous comments, my concern was Kitts getting pushed around for rebounds.
I hated how we closed; hated it.
Very reminiscent of the Duke game but that had to do with messing around with the lineup. This might have been a matter of running out of gas or loss of focus.

I’m beginning to think that Staley doesn’t realize that offensive rebounding is a part of the game. A player launches one beyond the 3 pt. line and the other four players just stand there and watch it. At the half they had only two offensive rebounds. Shameful!
And don’t get me started on the missed shots, layups or otherwise, directly under the basket!

Sometimes, you have to just get the win and keep it moving. Tennessee turns everyone over, but I think we had far too much dribbling out of traps and Dauda does not have enough experience for her to be the inbounder against Tennessee, of all teams. I know we are going to need her as that 4th big. However, save that for the upcoming games against lesser opponents like Georgia and Auburn.
Funny how one game turns people around. I could tell our gang was tired. LSU Friday, the travel to ut Monday. Oh yeah, keep your grades up. This break comes at a good time.
I also think Tac or Walker needs to be the other post relief person. Just because Dauda can hit a three once in a blue moon, that’s not helping us.
I know Dawn knows this team better than we do, but watching warm-ups last night, I swear Walker has the most talent of the three that never play. Put her 6’5” frame in and let her bang a little. Miriam looks lost

The announcer actually said "Dawn's leaving them in to figure it out for themselves". Don't make too much of it.
It's maddening sometimes to watch that. Stand under the rim and throw the ball directly at it. Miss the easy layup because you thought someone was going to contest it so you went way too hard. We have a couple of girls with an understanding of physics. Like, when I do X with the ball, it's going to react with Y. But it's women's BBall. Watkins is missed.
I gripped myself last night about how they finished the game but after calming down - it’s still a win against a top 20 team in their home court and realizing we have played 5 straight games against top 20 teams - that’s rough for any squad so I get it and I am excited about going 5-0 against that stretch. The ladies need a rest and they got one coming up so we will be ok
A win is a win is a win. And getting 5 in a row against ranked teams is a big deal. But I do fear that the combination of poor three-point shooting and lack of domination on the boards will cost us eventually. When/If that happens, I just hope it's not a do-or-die game.
UCLA has the athletes and the height to handle our starters AND bench, and I do not trust Paopao, Breezy, or Tessa to step up if we meet them again. UCLA is the ONLY team I fear out there. Betts is arguably better than Aliyah or Kamila.
