Our State fandom continues to be challenged. FB>Soccer> 2 BKB teams and now this. Talk about a losing streak. Can't say I know a lot about VB but we're not looking too good. Went down to the TX a$$ kicking here and we looked better than this. Thought we were "pretty good", what has happened over the last week or so?
Not sure. I wouldn’t have put much stock in the Texas game since they’re one of the best teams in the country, but we shouldn’t have lost to Vandy at home. That was Vandy’s first road SEC win ever. We were at least competitive in that game. We’re just getting the dogshit kicked out of us.
We had a real opportunity to finish in the upper half of the conference,, but absolutely blew it against the middle and lower end of the conference at the end.
Vandy's one middle is an insane threat. Her leading the team in kills is nuts too.
Coral is frustrating as hell to watch. She has a ton of control and floor awareness, but doesn't have the vert to hit over the block.
- She is blocked back at the net more than any MSU attacker I can think of in years.
- Her constant tipping, due to her lack of ability to attack over the block on anything even remotely tight, is ineffective. It is quickly read and picked up by the defense over and over.
