Now it will be interesting to see how that number fluctuates over the course of the next 6 weeks. We have some real tough competition ahead

We lose UF and Bama, but the others are winnable. Arkansas being the least winnable of those. If we win UK and Ole Miss, I think you have to call this season a runaway success. Even with the close losses earlier....

5-7 would be a very successful season. As we've said all along, Mullen should be SEC CotY if we finish 6-6 with this schedule. I still think we finish 4-8, but I'm sure as hell not ready to concede the Mississippi game.

Considering AD is a very mediocre running back, you have to give all the credit to Dan "The Man" Mullen. What a coaching job he has done on the O-Line given how they performed last year. 6-6 would solidify Dan's nickname as "The Man".

Your joking right??? The guy will leave MSU with every record a RB can have, including the scoring record. He was done all this while and facing 9 man fronts for the last three years. Dixon will go down as the most under appreciated RB in the history of MSU.

The scary thing is that as good as that sounds, there 4 teams that we have played or will play ABOVE us in that statistical category.

are we in the top 10% in the country in rushing, but not in the top 25% in the SEC..

I think that really clears up something about the spread offense - it's built to run the football. Everyone seems to think that it's all about passing and whatnot, but in reality it is about running the football.
