I'm surprised the media hasn't mixed us up with the Rebs. I'm sure I missed the ESPN headline of Michigan State vs Mississppi
The one mention we got during the selection show, Clark Kellogg called us Mississippi (as he mentioned Mich State would get by).

I remember in 2003 when we were a 5 seed and a lot of national media types were all picking us as a sleeper for the Final Four. We promptly laid an egg against the 12 seed Butler in basically our backyard as the game was played in Birmingham. The only silver lining was Butler went to the Sweet 16 by beating the 4 seed Louisville.

It’s been a mixed bag. Seen us getting some hype but also some people saying this feels like the kind of setup for another Izzo surprise run.
