We have to adjust play calling at half. Costello is looking intermediate to deep then dumping it late. Take what they are giving you. Run the ball & short passes. It will open up if you have some success. Bad half but ain’t over by no means.

I mean adjustments have to be made but we’ve had opportunities in the short game as is, just poor execution and some misfires.

3.6 yards a carry when they are dropping 8 isn’t going to get it done. And KJ has had some really bad decisions and misses.

You can’t bomb away against a defense like this, you’ve gotta hit the short stuff and we haven’t.

Our defense has given up 7 points. Can’t really expect much more out of that personnel. We’ve gotta figure out how to move the ball. Outside the one TD we haven’t come close to scoring.

3 man rush means run the ball 40 times. Or until they bring guys up. Our receivers are not running to open grass. They are running the same routes as last week but into the teeth of an 8 man zone. The fact that we only gain 3 yards running into a 3 man front is more concerning than poor passes. It means this defense can shut down our complete offense, running and passing. Arkansas sucks. We played right into their hands on offense and defense in the first half. Our defense is looking around for friends with their hurry up offense and they don’t have any.

Problem is that half the time he’s dumping it, he’s got multiple receivers wife *** open 15 yards down field. I don’t know what’s got him spooked tonight, but he is not seeing the field well at all. He’s complete missing guys that are standing by themselves, and he’s then forcing stuff into tight coverage on the next play

If we’re going to have a chance, he’s got to get it together

I don't see a coaching issue. I see a QB that's stinking it up and WRs that look like the last few years. Hill being out is a killer.Officials have sucked too.
