We are going to be good when Dee gets back and Sidney gets in shape...seriously.

Doesn't make Stans a great coach, but we are gong to have a good team. Problem is that we need to pretty much win every game to get into the tourney.

But can Rick keep them out of trouble, focused, and teach them how to rebound? Also, can we get decent production out of the bench?

Don't get excited yet after a decent showing against Whale's ******. There's a ways to go and even if we gel heading into SEC play, it may not be enough to overcome a disastrous OOC run. We are going to have to dominate the SEC to get an at-large bid.

San Diego isn't a good measuring stick, but Dee helps equalize bad coaching for sure. Not sure if dominating the SEC will be enough, probably going to have to win the tourney

it may not matter becaues the SEC sux so bad.

But after Bost gets back and we get things going, we are going to be really good. This is Sidney's 2nd game and he looks tons better. Granted SD stinks, but he has NBA talent, so it's not going to matter who we play...we will win that match up 9 of 10 times. Plus Bost will be better than 90% of the teams PGs we play. There is jsut too much talent not to be good. We aren't going to suck, like everyone thinks. Andbelieve me, I realize why everyone thinks it, watching us play to date. I get it and agre we ahve played horribly, but we will be good...if not real good.

People are declaring Sidney a bust after one game. He's 6'10, 280 and has NBA post moves. When have we had that? Let me help you...never.

In fact, name the last SEC player that had that. When he gets in shape, he's going to dominate. He's better than Varnado by a mile. I know it's hard to see now, but wait until he starts putting up 22 and 12 every game. Once our guys get used to him and start breaking to the basket when he gets it, he may average 5 assist too. I'm telling you, it's going to be fun. don't be so pessimistic.</p>

That has to be the only rational assumption since you clearly have no concept of what a good basketball team actually looks like.

any team in the coutnry. ANY team. Duke, whoever. Talent-wise we will be able to match anyone. I think that is true.

I don't think Stans is the best floor coach, and that will hurt us, no doubt.

However, when we get everyone going, we are going to be good. I don't love Stans either, but we are going to be good, and the fact that the SEC sux so hard means we are going to string together a bunch of wins. I hope it's enough to get into the tourney, but I'm not sure yet.

And that doesn't include Bost, who I argue is one of the best PGs in the SEC. There are not a lot of teams on here with 2 players.

IF we have 2 NBA players in our starting 5, then we have one of the best starting 5s. Last time we had that 1996.

I'm no expert, and with no research being done, I'm going to go with zero. There are only 2 rounds in the NBA draft buddy.

Your post said 2 players listed in the first 2 rounds.

Made it sound like the mock draft was incomplete, like you were thinking there were more rounds.
