And just to make sure that I’ve got this straight as far as next season goes, we’ve seen very little out of any of our young players aside from Davis-Fleming, we’re 50/50 on getting Hubbard back, all or at least most of this year’s portal class will be gone, and we’re trusting Jans to fill the gaps with his proven portal prowess.

Fire Jans now. He's lost this team. This is the worst MSU game I have seen since Rick Ray.
I don't think there is but is there any scenario where Jans is fired? Because it doesn't look like we care at all anymore.
There is probably more of a chance that Lebby gets fired this offseason than Jans, so no chance because Jans is coming off 3 consecutive NCAA tournaments which has happened ONCE previously in my lifetime & I am about to turn 60.
Jans has to make some changes about how they are evaluating talent in the portal. MSU has just swung & missed on too many transfers.
Jans did not forget how to coach this past offseason.
King Grace has looked promising the last two games, JDF should be really good but he has to learn to play without fouling, & the Euro can play a role. If you get Hubbard back & Tee Bartlett develops, we might have some building blocks. The incoming freshman class should also be strong with 3 top 125 ranked recruits.
I don't mind seeing a team lose when they at least try. This team just does not try and does not care.
And to think this Vanderbilt team had to beat us to get above .500 in the SEC. We may not win another conference game.
