This seems as bad a team as I can remember (I'm 29). We just don't look good in any phase of the game. It has to be coaching at this point.
We have much better players than Joker did....
no it was donated. Kentucky cant borrow money without the governments approval.wait, didn't a bunch of money have to be borrowed for all those improvements??? so team-wise, yeah no better. but when you factor in all that debt isn't it a lot worse??
they spent something like $130mil, I doubt they got that donated.no it was donated. Kentucky cant borrow money without the governments approval.
Without question, it IS coaching. This seems as bad a team as I can remember (I'm 29). We just don't look good in any phase of the game. It has to be coaching at this point.
I think you guys need to give Stoops more time.
I have to disagree.
We're def not very good. But joker was winning two games.
Stoops at least took us from two wins to five
But we are still not a disciplined team.
We may even be worse than last year.
Barker looks terrible this game.
What is the answer?
It was approved by the legislature to pay for it and other upgrades to the campus with bonds. They were able to leverage various revenue streams to pay for it. The revenues from the football program accounted for most of it. The Athletic essentially funded 360 million in upgrades to the campus including new dorms and a new science building. That's 360 million most of which came from revenues from the athletic department. I don't think a 12 million buyout is out of the ball park.they spent something like $130mil, I doubt they got that donated.
right. bond, that's debt. to be paid w future ath dept revenue. obviously sec deal ensures a lot of that revenue. but we are now NOT in as good of shape financially. whatever recruiting upside results from the facilities is now negated by the horrible performance of the coachng staff. It was approved by the legislature to pay for it and other upgrades to the campus with bonds.
