The Beavskers?
The Huskvers?

I don't blame MR. NU is a great place to ride off into the sunset. One last hurrah. A nice paycheck. Security for his family and friends. You take care of your own. Not saying it was purely $$$ that brought him to Lincoln. It's pretty well documented that MR is a hard-working football coach and an upstanding man. That does not necessarily equal success at NU.

This one falls squarely on the administration.

Honest question, do you really believe MR took the job for money and security? Don't you think he probably already has a nice little nest egg?

He came here to try and win something meaningful which he never would be able to do at OSU. This is about competitiveness not $s.

You beat me to it. There is absolutely no way anyone will ever convince me Riley came here for the money. He wants to win... the question waiting to be answered is, can he?

Yeah, but what do we do about it now? It is what it is. Keep supporting NU. MR won't be in Lincoln forever. Let's look to future with optimism instead of this victim mentality. I don't like it either. Nobody does. Hard to believe it's gotten to this level again, but it did. The only thing we can control as fans is to keep showing up and pull for the Huskers. GBR.

Yea Shawn Eichorst should be on the hot seat. He had a whole year to find replacement knowing Bo was on his way out and he comes up with Riley.....

That's completely different than your original post (or at least how I took it; could be my bad)... If you say this from the start, I have no problem with it.

I fixed it. Hope my point is clearer now.

Of course he came for the money but that is not a bad thing. He came for the money and for a chance to win.
