Hell, even as bad as we were last year, we were quite a bit better than that based on multiple data driven polls.

I expect us to be no worse than 50th or so. We'll see.

Depends on how you look at it I guess. We could be "better", but also have a worse record. Current win total O/U is 4.5, and that's juiced to the under.

I don't know. Think most of us realize this will be a fairly sub par year. I had us with 4-5 wins and saw many others about the same. If we somehow happen to luck out and hit 6 wins plus a bowl opp., then we should be dancing in the streets.

If we’re really #78 (we aren’t, not even close), we’re looking at 2-10. I still think 4 or 5 wins, and I’m going with 5.

I agree with you in the broad sense, except when you look at our rank in relation to where these dubmasses rank other teams similar to (or recently worse than) us. Arkansas being exhibit A. South Alabama. Georgia State. Ohio. The list goes on. That's what stands out about the ranking.
