The other 39% are probably MVB, Keon Coleman, and Mario Craver.

I always thought it was a funny metric though. If the 23 team lost all of those players and replaced them with Cam Ward, Ashton Jeanty, Jeremiah Smith, Travis Hunter, Tetoria McMillan, and Tyler Warren and the top portal OL players, should a 0% returning offense be concerning?

Yeah players never improve with experience in a given system. What a casual-*** take.
Obviously the number is skewed due to Shapen being out most of the year. But please tell me which returning players you expect to make a notable jump due to another year in the system. Booth, Mosley, Traore?

The offense will be better this year assuming Shapen stays healthy. But we downgraded at WR and OL is a complete unknown. Adding Bothwell is great, but if the OL is subpar again, then it doesn't matter.

Not that it matters, but I wonder how that stat is calculated for passing yards? Does the QB or the receiver get the credit? In any case, getting Shapen back with the FSU transfer as backup is an upgrade even if it does go down as production lost in this stat.

I am not worried about the offense. Not one bit.

What I worry about is having a defense that allows the other team to advance five yards up the field before WE realize they had snapped the ball. I could not have been more embarrassed at the condition of our football program had fallen to, last year. If Mr. Huntzler and his minions have waked the F*ck up, I will be happier.

That OL has to be improved. If you remember we had 2 or 3 freshmen that got a good bit of playing time. Jimothy Lewis should be ready to start. Luke Work should be ready. Maybe TJ Lockhart ? I cant remember if he played or not. With another off season to bulk up it's time for them to take over

If Traore can make the routine plays and stop the dumb ones, his productivity could go up 40-50%.

thoughts...... my original thought that jumped in my head was, 61% at STATE is still less than ZERO return offensive starters on a Nick Saban Alabama team

So what's the good news?
Yeah. Heard a guy talking about Vandy one time. He told this guy, "I got some good news and some bad news." The other guy said what's the good news? He said "Vandy is returning 20 starters off last years 2-10 team." The other guys ask what the bad news was. The guy said
" Vandy is returning 20 starters off last years' 2-10 team!"

The schedule is brutal and Lebby took over without much talent. 5 wins makes this a good season. 3-4 is what I expect and, unless Lebby shows he's just incompetent, he should get another year. We'll see what that suspect DC does this year.
