i know we are 3-6, but don't give up hope.

byu- hail mary
miami- missed wide open wr in end zone in OT
illinois- RUN the clock down
wisconsin- pick up one first down
northwestern- dumb pick-6
purdue- back-up walk-on qb gave them 28 free points

we aren't really as far off as everyone thinks.
spartans going down next weekend!

Probably tongue in cheek but I like your optimism! Wouldn't it be crazy if things finally came together for us and we played up to the competition for the first time in a while?

This one feels like when we played Texas at home in 2002. Our record was lousy but Jammal Lord played lights out that game up until the INT. Hopefully Armstrong (or Fyfe) has a lights out game and we pick up the much needed W.

Close to 7-1 and Close to 2-7. What a cluster %^&k. Should be fun to see where schedule strength ends up.

Not sure your being sarcastic or not....hard to say. For sure their are fans who think like you stated. What's always left out of rationalizing a record this way is the fact your opponents in each of these games left points on the field (not on the scoreboard) as well. If you want to play the if, and, or but game then you have to do it for the opponent as well, hence you may not be losing these games as close as the final score would indicate. You/re what your record says you are, and coaching, player execution, and everything in between determines that. I did get the sarcasm in beating MSU........

But we aren't. We are 3-6 with a very high possibility these kids are home during Christmas break. Purdue just got its first conference win in 3 years. This is the 3rd FBS team Hazell has beat. We should have walked away with an easy W with the water boy playing QB. The season is shot and the only thing left to say is that we suck.

[Riley almost always finds a way to lose close games. It wasn't just at Oregon State. He is terrible. We are getting worse as the season progresses.
