It was their worst game of the season in my opinion and if rumors are true they were dealing with a lot of sick players during that week. A win could get them really close to a 7 seed.
We shall see.

I had about checked out after the wet fart we ended the season with. I now fully expect them to go on a run and make the SEC championship game. This will be to make sure I get fully reinvested before they are beat at the buzzer in the first round tournament game.
I don’t think we get run off the floor by them a second time. But I have a hard time trusting our defense against any offense with a pulse.
Feel like we will be more locked in for this one though. They caught us in a perfect letdown spot last time, early Saturday start time after we lost a heartbreaker to Bama two days before. And I think they had a week off before they played us.
We’re understandably the underdog again but I’ll be really disappointed if it isn’t at least competitive.

That's a pretty bold statement about a relatively meaningless 2nd round conference tournament game. Nothing would surprise me much tonight. We could win by 20, we could lose by 20. I don't have a clue which team will show up.
I seem to remember we thumped Tenn pretty good in last year’s Trny when I didn’t think we had a chance.
They haven't been the same team the last three weeks. Obviously we haven't either, but Mizzou has had their struggles too.

I like our chances today, team had fun last night playing and that was a positive going into today.
Let’s look at it like this….of all of the teams who set career days shooting against us this season, I choose Mizzou to NOT be able to duplicate the previous performance..and I’ll give you 3 reasons.
1. We are fully healthy
2. They have lost 5/6 and forgot how to defend.
3. We won’t play the worst game of the season, again.

Agree, payback time for that embarrassment at the Hump. Still remember everyone quietly leaving the game just stunned.
I am not rooting against us and will watch every game, like I always do. There is a difference between supporting and believing. When this team has played well they can compete with just about anybody in the country minus teams like Auburn. I just have yet to see consistency. If we win tonight my belief o meter will go up significantly.

That's a lot of losses, but what I see is a team that struggles on D, but always scores. In all of those games it took a minimum of 84 points to beat them.
We really need to keep our shooting touch from last night.
At worst this is a 50/50 game and I don’t see jones and kugel (0 pts) combing for 4 points this time. Also don’t see Grill coming off the bench and draining 40’ set shots.
