Solid game. Really loved pounding the rock old fashioned Nebraska style. Best game plan of the year outside of MSU. I only have two small complaints: still too many big plays given up on defense, and passing the ball on third and goal from the one, after pounding it down their throats the whole drive. Would have loved to see a giant exclamation point on that drive having Cross or Ozigbo pound it into the end zone
Still feel bad for Gerry, putting all that work in and only getting to play a half because of an official that should still be suspended. The absolute worst official in the USA, congrats on being terrible at your job.
I'd love to get the name of the clown in the replay both that was absolutely wrong on that call. We all need to call for his job.
So, trying not to be armchair coach here, but when you see a performance like this, don't you think Riley/Langs should adjust the offense more toward this gameplan rather than be so pass happy? Honest question. I realize our current personnel are catered more toward this style of offense.
I think the caption on this is the best way to state it. We were the ones laying the wood and getting after it. It was more than just executing running plays, if looked like, and felt like, they were pissed off and looking for contact. They played with an attitude.
