on a pig. But really, that helmet looks like it will go good with the Ute looking uniforms ya'll will be getting. All maroon at home and all white on the road. Very SWACish. Da playas will love it. The old folks, not so much. State has had so many different uniform combinations over the last 30 years that it's hard to ever get a handle on what ya'll do.
If you want the average Nafoomer's opinion, I think it's pretty gay that you guys care so much about uniforms, logos, helmets, etc. You sound like a bunch of women. As long as they are wearing the school colors and you can see the numbers on the jerseys, does it really matter?
We have our own contingent that likes to continually discuss the shade of gray/silver that we should have on our pants or the color of our helmets, or whether we should wear red or blue at home, or what kind of stripes we need on the jersey, and I feel the same way about them. Call up Tim Gunn and chat him up about it if you're into fashion so much.

I can honestly say I've never seen a group of men develop nearly the level of man crush that has been displayed lately by quite a number of SixPack posters, including yourself, over a Mr. Greg Byrne. Now, that's some serious man crushing you guys have been doing.

the only damn reason this has come to the fore-front is because of Croom and the ******** he forced on us the last 5 years. Those SWAC looking uni's - all his idea. I never really cared what the hell our uniforms looked like until he took over. And for the life of me, I just don't understand what the hell the problem is with going back to what we wore when Jackie was here. Those are our supposed 'Glory Days', so let's go back to them and be done with it. Most State fans will agree those were sharp looking. The MState banner logo has to go. It just sucks.
Yeah, but a man crush on Byrne is like a man crush on Chuck Norris or Ronald Regan. Its so manly that it cancels out the gay. Kind of like a thick mustache. You know, the kind that makes you wake up and put on your jean shirt, jean jacket, and jeans and then makes you think its a mustache kind of morning.
