I knew a LOT of people from Flora. And I can tell you with certainty that the people of Flora are by and large Jackson State fans. I didn't know anyone that was an Alcorn fan- and I was in high school when McNair was going for the Heisman.
I'm not surprised- when this first happened, I said he would either go JUCO at Holmes, EMCC or go to Jackson State.
Him going to play for Hopson? Hell- if I were him I would want to get the hell as far away from anyone associated with Ole Miss as I could. I wouldn't be surprised if Brassell follows him to JSU after this year either.
