We have all seen it........and it hurts

I have watched teams play like faultless machines one week....and then watch that same machine break down the next week and lose to a team that they probably wouldn't have lost to all year...play their worst game, while the other team plays their best...We have all witnessed it...at every level...high school, college, and the pros......I feel like the folks at Hidden valley feel this way about their upset last week....Its just a fact of life....it happens...at this point of the season you just hope your team is ready....no that's not right...you hope they want it more...are more determined.....but nothing is better than that game where both teams give you 100%...its all left on the field......SO regardless of how your team does this weekend at least do them the honor of staying until they walk off that field...they deserve that.......GO GILES

That why we love playoff games

For high school kids, 15 games is a long season. When it comes playoff time, a lot of it has to do with who WANTS to still be playing.

By the time November rolls around, a lot of kids are ready for basketball season, hunting season, etc.

There's an old high school football adage......

that says there are going to be 2 or 3 times when your team doesn't play up to its potential and you can only hope they play well enough to win.
