Just can’t wrap my brain around why they don’t get Grady more open looks??!! Wheeler taking 13 shots and Grady only 5 is not what you want offensively. Grady should get at least 10-12 shots/game.

Exactly. It’s like people forgot the last game against Vanderbilt in Rupp. This was not going to be an easy game. It’s going to be a constant battle from here on out. Buckle up folks. It’s Tournament time. Survive and advance.
Only issue is those 5 minute scoring droughts we have each half. That will bite them in the Elite Eight.
Because Grady refuses to shoot it unless he’s wide *** open . There have been plenty of times where he had enough time to put up a shot but passed on it because the defender was closing in on him
Well, the Cats half-court offense needs to get him some open looks. Other teams are covering him and not leaving him. Hence, he’s driving more, but needs to hit the pull-up J.
I just want KG getting shots instead of Brooks and SW launching away . But tonight .. this night , KG's defense was horrific . Just didnt aggressively D up . His D was Grandad D . But the rest of the guys picked it up .. Toppin was GREAT .
Wheeler can't shoot. Terrific passer and distributor but he can't shoot a lick. He needs to stick to what he does best.

Vanderbilt has improved as the season has continued. Good win in my opinion. Good to see Washington have a good game. If Kentucky can shoot the ball well and take care of the ball better they should beat TN tomorrow.
Arizona barely survived. Duke barely beats everyone. Baylor lost. Auburn, duh..I mean we have warts but everyone does. It's a wide open race.

We’ll find out tomorrow I guess who this team is. I continue to have flashbacks to that 19 squad with this team. That team was playing at a high level in January before injuries slowed them down and they just never really got the mojo back and lost to Auburn in the EE. On the surface it wasn’t terrible but the product on the court never did find it self from the what we saw in January.

Not on Jordan Wright. TyTy just watched him catch the ball on the side out and he drained a 3 right in front of him after being the HOTTEST player for Vandy tonight.
Can't do that tomorrow or in the Big Dance.
That last 3 was almost at half court. He just made a good shot. Sometimes that happens.
I’ve mentioned this in a few threads but I think it bears repeating. We have played these teams 2 and 3 times. They know our plays as well as we do. They know where Grady goes, what he does, how we screen for him. I think we will see a lot of difference once we get out of conference. Scouting someone for 2 days isn’t like playing someone for a third time in 2 months.
