We pretty much invented collegiate field level suites, and now this. Lil bro Bjork maximizing revenue.

Ole Miss is building two luxury field level suites. One will be located in the northwest corner and the other will be in the southeast corner, directly alongside the visiting teams tunnel. The suites will be elevated to near row one height, so they will offer very good line of sight of the field. There will be a portion of the suites that is covered and has TV, food/beverages and seating. There will also be a "deck like" extension that is uncovered. Each suite can accommodate roughly 40 people.

We are selling each of these suites on a game by game basis this year. A few of our corporate partners have already jumped on board for games this upcoming season. If you have interest or know of anybody that would be interested in more information, please feel free to reach out and I will be happy to assist.

Thank you and Go Rebels!!

Can you direct me to pics of MSU's version?

Would love to see what they look like to get an idea. I did a quick check of pics on the official site and didn't see anything. Didn't look that hard, though, admittedly.

Good question. I don't think Stricklin mentioned those yet.

He mentioned the suites being sold out and the loge seating almost being sold out as well. The "field suites" you mentioned I believe aren't really suites, but more like a common type area that you pay an extra 750 a year to have access to. You come and go as you please before, during, and after the game. I don't see the appeal of it, but I could see it being a place where the women and children wander off to when the weather is bad or when dad gets liquored up and obnoxious on the 50 yard line.

I think Field Level suites are by individual ticket only. You still have to have a ticket to get in the game but to be able to enter the field level suite - it's $700/person. You get free food, a locker, etc.

Ghosts not included.

See, we're not as arrogant as ya'll make us out to be. When we see a good idea, we don't mind giving credit where its due. Imitation is the best form of flattery. Now if we could just get the hook-up on some gold shoes

"NON" Rival is Building things left and right, all the while trying to claim that you were really "thinking about" adding suites and seats long before MSU ever was, because you had been selling out VH years in a row, and had a waiting list for season tickets. OM fans and admin will never admit, but they have always been a reactionary group when MSU does something. 1998 MSU begins to add east upper deck and state of the art suites after OM had recently finished an expansion. What do they do? Rush in and bowl in North Endzone to add 10k seats, so MSU doesn't surpass the capacity of OM. OM never admits or gives credit to MSU for anything.

Problem with VH future expansion, whoever did the planning has **** the bed. There's no real easy way to expand now, because you rushed to add seats every time you "NON" rival did. **** planning has created a current stadium that has no existing foundation to facilitate future upward expansion. It will take major groundwork and removations to existing upper suites to add on. That's what happens when you are in a reactive mode all of the time, because your fan base cannot deal with thinking for one second of their lives, that their "NON" rival has anything bigger or better than them. It's just the mindset of an OM alum/fan. Always think they are better, and when they know they arent better, they spin the situation so that they appear/feel better.

Its a war. I don't disagree with anything you said except for the stupid insults, and the fact that bowling in the stadium to expand it would be about the easiest expansion one could imagine. I don't think we are worried about "major groundwork" even a tiny bit. Yeah we want a bigger better stadium, yeah we want better facilities. Anytime ya'll improve something I sure as hell hope we counter it. This is the SEC. Quit whining

Edit: Sorry bulldognation, just saw your injun related reply after I posted

2001?

We make decisions like most businesses, supply and demand. Not because we have the "small dick" syndrome. OM has difficulty filling up the stadium as it is. State has sold every ticket for 3 yrs now and has a waiting list for season tickets. Hence the expansion project. And now OM has announced an expansion of their own? Have you enjoyed those games the past few years, where 50% of your fans are dressed as empty bleachers? Why build something just to "say you're bigger and better than your NON rival" if you cant even consistently fill up what you currently have? We build and add out of demand and necessity of more people wanting tickets. OM builds out of little man/penis syndrome. Its a fact, and history explicitly displays such actions.

I take it that you are neither an engineer or business major. That's quite evident. Just take a look at the current VH structure and design. The way the suites are positioned and size of supports clearly display that very little forethought went into the construction for upward expansion of the stadium. The quickest and easiest way to add seats before "NON" rival surpassed your seating capacity, was to bowl in the endzones. Only out of necessity of mental well being. But you being an OM fan, I clearly do not expect you to see things for what they truly are, but to put your spin on it and "fabricate the day/issue" so you feel better each night when you lay your head on your pillow.

Face it, OM fans cannot stand for State to have newer/larger facilities, cars, condos, boats, ascots, bow ties, sweater vests, tailgate tents, Yeti Coolers, 401k's, etc., than a MSU fan. MSU fans could give 0.0000 17's how many seats VH has, how many buckets are needed in the Tad Pad every time it rains, or how many fans are assigned to wear "empty bleacher" T-Shirts to each of the home games. It's actually comical watching your fan base constantly trying to one up amongst themselves, let alone worrying about one upping their "NON" Rival.

You keep up with what we did in 2001? I'm a die hard Rebel, and I couldn't have told you that. I attend every home game, and I have no idea what empty seats you are referring to. Good story though. On the expansion, no I'm not an engineer, but we bowled in 1 side. Why do you think it would be impossible to do the other? What the hell is an empty bleacher T-shirt? It seems some OM fan (or fans) has upset you by saying that LSU is our real rival. MSU is our rival. Feel better?

Don't fix/add anything to your stadium till you put real grass on the field.
