Everybody nees to take a breath. If you couldn't feel this coming tonight you were wearing maroon blinders. They stormed the freaking field!!! They played Dan Mullen video quotes on the board following the game. That's how bad they wanted this. It was 3 years of getting thier butt's whipped worth of pent up frustration. Now don't get me wrong. We wanted to win too. The difference is we expected to win and that little something extra you need wasnt there. You could see it with Mullen all week. The bravado of the past 3 year's wasnt there. We looked timid like we had everything to lose. The lack of efffort once we got behind was disturbing as was out defensive backs continued issues with not lining up properly or getting confused on coverage. I am not as down as most on the program. We are 8-4 and most likely playing on New Year's day in the Gator Bowl. Soft schedule? Whatever. We beat everyone we should other than Ole Miss. Using that same logic what would anyone say about Ole Miss' schedule? We are their best win! We are nieve if we think we are to a point now where we can beat Alabama or LSU on the road. Especially when you come in undefeated. Guess what. They actually pay attention to us now. We get their A game. I can assure you Bama & LSU approached us as serious as anyone on their schedule. There isnt a team in the country that could beat A&M right now. Give me a break with the Ole Miss played them close BS. A&M still won on the road while committing 6 turnovers. I assure you if they had turned it over 6 times against us we would have beat them.
