Almost no sports program is ever "where its fans would Iike it to be". That doesn't mean you boycott. LOL! What an utterly ridiculous idea by the OP. Like a spoiled child who hasn't gotten their way, so throw a tantrum. It still puzzles me why anyone would believe a program that was 2-10 in 2012 and 2013, then 5-7 in 2014 and 2015, would suddenly win every game in 2016. To put a kind face on it, that's naive. Winning 6 games this year provides 15 extra December practices for a young, improving team on the path toward further improvement. On many threads, I have pointed out that Coach Stoops will bring back 19 incumbent starters, both kickers, and a long list of quality redshirt freshmen in 2017. That's a team that ought to win more of the close games where they have struggled a little bit in 2016. Actually, to be honest about it, Stoops' current team will go bowling despite having to play a 2nd string quarterback who can't throw an accurate pass in the middle of the field and a defense without much depth that has been nearly wiped out by injuries in recent weeks. Of the defensive linemen starting now, none was ever an SEC starter before this year. For fans looking at this objectively, that's an impressive achievement by our coaches. If Stoops can't win 7-8 games in 2017 with the returning talent and experience, and hopefully with a different quarterback, that will be the time to question whether our current coaches can take our program down the path of additional improvement. But to push such questions now, on the cusp of our 1st bowl since 2010, is totally ridiculous. When I see something like that, I know there is an underlying agenda.
