Nov 14 will be 17 years to the day eventual National Champion Alabama rolled into Starkville and trailed in the second half for the only time that season. We have some unfinished business from that game to tend to. (Commemorating this game might be like having the jumbotron question of "MSU's greatest athletic achievement" on the night of the Florida game when the choices were losing to UT in the SECCG, losing to Syracuse in the Final Four, and losing to Miami in the 1985 CWS.)
It's also the same day the 1998 team rolled Bama 26-14. Might be a good day to bring JJ back as captain.
And on Nov. 14, 1942, we avenged our only 1941 loss with a convincing 28-6 win over Duquesne.
