We've been tortured for so long, this one feels huge!
It was a solid win. The cats did not panic. There are things to address, but overall solid performance.
Ball-handling and finishing around the rim is going to be huge against better team.

Happy we won... Wish we had all full roster... And we where healthy... Figured we would wear them down in the 2nd half... Hope we can keep it up.

After the last 5 years I was just happy to get to the next game with little drama.

After the last few years plus Cal winning his first round game yesterday, Pope and UK absolutely needed this game tonight.
We're just relieved Cal is no longer the coach.

Make the S16 and it's lifted. What we did tonight was open the windows to get the stank out.
I’m really, really happy we got this one. Whatever happens on Sunday won’t change my opinion that this was a great job by Pope. But – and it’s just my opinion - I don’t think UK has enough at Guard to advance past Sunday. Butler is not close to being the same player he was prior to injury, and with Kriisa out that leaves UK with basically ½ a PG. Add to that Robinson being done and UK now really only has one reliably good 3pt. shooter (Brea). Just bad luck, because healthy I think UK had a real shot at a FF. Hope the guys make me wrong (again).

100%. I said in the off-season, my expectation for this year was a better season than our last several. We have now met that expectation. Everything else is gravy this year.
