Yes. We got absolutely crushed on the boards. SC had 21 offensive rebounds! Cam, Nwoko and Murphy combined for 8 total rebounds. We outrebounded them 40-32 in Starkville, so I don’t know what the problem was today.
Better to be going through this now as opposed to late March.
I was honestly more shocked at the rebound totals for the first game in Starkville. It’s not like South Carolina is a small team.
Every road win is precious. Even an ugly one.
One consistent theme is that our only move at the end of games is Hubbard creating something for himself. Would love to see us run some actual offense.

I think we only had one true road win last season. We already have four true road wins this season. Road wins are golden in college basketball. The committee looks at road wins as a major factor when seeding.
Never take road SEC wins for granted. We are +1, on pace to win 10 games.

Mathews not hitting 1/2 of his rebound average and getting skunked from the field was defintely the offensive difference. 72% team FTs on the road, i'll take it. That was a good scrappy road win.
I almost tuned out at OT....not good for my heart at this stage of the game.
That Vandy road win is looking pretty dang good now. Any road win this year is so massive.

Vandy has home wins against Tennessee and Kentucky, but not Mississippi State.
Especially when it lasted damn near 45 minutes. Between the official reviews, the refs randomly just stopping play, and both head coaches calling TO after TO, it was a miserable 5 minute period to watch

Kugel and Hubbard made 4 combined, jones missed the front end of a one-and-one. So 4-5 I think. Might’ve missed a pair in there between all the reviews.
Eight of our 10 points in OT were free throws, and the only one I remember missing was Jones missing the front end. So I think we went 8-9
It’s unwatchable. If it wasn’t us playing, I’d have just turned it off 20 minutes before it ended. Almost did anyway. They have got to fix this.
They probably are the worst team in the league. But that says more about the rest of the league than it does about South Carolina.
You had better take every win you get in the SEC, no matter who it is. They are pretty hard to come by.
