We scored 17 and STILL lost by five runs. It wasn't even close.

I feel like I've been punched in the gut.

The man smokes like a chimney and eats McDonald's for breakfast everyday. And he's STILL alive.

when your RF pitches better than your starter. And the even sadder thing is that I have to clarify which RF pitched better- Ryan Collins.

I think Cohen said it best- we tried hard, but it's just not there.

Ah come on now you know that was a push......Collins did give up the 3 run bomb to the Canadian

I would have given the nod to Adkins.

I will amend myself then. I got caught up in the strikeout to walk ratio of Collins vs Adkins.

If Adkins and Collins had pitched two soreless innings, we win 17-16. I wonder if Bowen's parents are going to go after Adkin's and Collin's Dads since his son was tagged with the loss.

His at one time sunday .194 BA is god-awful.

As for the defense comment, I dont think that's it. Over the last few weeks he's chosen his RF based on lefty-righty and vice versa hitting matchups.

I'd take Hardy or Nappi in a less productive hitting matchup anyday. I mean, how good can any situation be for a guy hitting BELOW TWO HUNDRED!!!

as noted by the errors comment. It's just that I've heard that same argument from numerous people at each of the last three games in which he started

as the starting lineup and pitching rotation are Cohen recruits and not Polk's. If we don't see improvement next season, we should start to worry.

Cohen recruits. I believe every new coach that takes over a losing program should get three full years to show stability and improvement. I think you will see improvement next season when the roster has some Cohen recruits on it and by year 3, we should be expected to make some noise in regionals

Crooms should have never gotten years 4 and 5.

First I would say, just as soon as the starting lineup and pitching rotation are Cohen recruits and not Polk's. If we don't see improvement next season, we should start to worry.

Secondly, a s soon as we are comprised of mostly Cohen recruits who are losing and not b/c they are true freshmen.

Next, Just as soon as our current coach is playing with players he recruited and not with these alleged players Polk recruited.

Finally, When the players on the field are comprised of mostly Cohen recruits. I believe every new coach that takes over a losing program should get three full years to show stability and improvement. I think you will see improvement next season when the roster has some Cohen recruits on it and by year 3, we should be expected to make some noise in regionals.
