Auburn had 3 turnovers the entire game. Simply put MSU has to play much better defense. Giving up 88 points is atrocious defense to a bad Auburn team.

Thank you. I didn't see the game, but the point you made was not lost on me. State shot 60% at home against a mediocre at best opponent, and only won by three points. Seems to me that State should have won that game going away. Did State play nothing but bench warmers the last 4 to 5 minutes of the game?

Since the referees had hair-trigger whistles, it opened up space for both teams to drive to the basket or pull up and hit the jumper. Auburn has some very good shooters, and Kenny Gabriel is a beast.

We'd have won going away if we had the Alabama-Ole Miss refs.
