We do have a chance with the teams we have left to play, however, losing 2 at home to THIS Bama team is disappointing...very disappointing.

in all phases of the game. If we're going to win, we're going to have to get quality starts from our starting pitchers, catch pop ups, stop oversliding bases and things like that. I certainly left out a lot of other things to point out as well.

We always seem to play like this against Alabama. I'm really disappointed in everyone with the program- players and coaches- for not stepping up. Even worse, is it's one run losses- if we cut out our stupid mistakes we win.

Like I said, we had a chance IF we took care of business, and we simply did not. All we can do is come out tommorrow and win.

Cohen has been quite a disappointment thus far. I didn't expect a miracle, but I thought State would be better in year three under John Cohen. He has been successful everywhere else. I won't say he is doing a horrible job, but he sure as hell isn't doing a good job either. Next year he has to deliver or pack his bags and ride out of town with RS.

He built Kentucky with Juco players and had a coupleof good years. But you have to remember that his first year at MSU, Kentucky started stinking it up immediately and thatgroup was Cohen recruits. Did he stop recruiting 2 years before he left UK to come to MSU?

Unfortunately he has to have the 3 worst assistant coaches in the SEC and a former backup catcher at MSU as a clip board holder. It is time he cut his entire staff loose andhire a real hitting instructor, and a pitching coach who actually knows something about pitching. And maybe someone who can coach the bases and actually teach guys how to hang on to a bag.

I was sitting near the players parents and that is the quietest bunch of mommas and papasI have seen since Cass Elliot's funeral. I stood up after game 1 loss and said asI left Dudy Noble for the last time in 2011, "I've seen all of the Cohen Ball I can stand. Y'all enjoy the rest of this season."

Revising my Last 12 game prediction down from 5-7 earlier this week to 2-10....maybe 3-9 if we can win 1 from LSU.

IfCohen's current team played his former team, it would probably end 1 win for MSU, 1 win for Kentucky and the 3rd game called a tie by the umps for lack of interest.

I've seen better talent from T-ball players. 15 freaking hits in game one and managed only 4 runs and 2 of them were of solo HRs by one player. And the only reason they got that many hits was because more than half of theirground balls that usually endup in an infielders glove actually found some dirtyspots as they squirted past the slow Bama fielders.

The MSU AG department could plant a farm in the outfield grass and an MSU Batter wouldn't be able to hit a single vegetable plant. Bamashould have played6 infielders and would have cut our 15 hits down to about 5. They only needed 2 outfielders in either game. I don't think these guys could throw it up and hit a line drive that actually found out field grass.

It is just pitiful.PIT-E-FULL
