Memphis needs to win CUSA and St. Louis needs to win A-10. Cal, Memphis and St. Louis are locks, and Nevada and Long Beach would be bubble teams if they don't win their conference tourneys. We don't need any bid stealers.

Marshall. The problem is evenifALL of that happens, you are still looking at MSU/Seton Hall/Drexel/Iona for 2 spots. And we have the worst RPI out of all 4 of those teams. Not looking good.

How can you possibly expect this team to all of the sudden play well in the tourny? They don't give a **** about anything.

Also, it is not that I don't want good things for State but a change needs to be made and is overdue. I kind of look at it like Croom's last game. I did not want us to lose but if we were going to lose, I wanted us to lose by 90 to insure what needed to be done was done.

How is it best for State to quit before the season is over? After the season is the time for coaching changes. We've hopefully got ball left to play.

If we get into the Tournament, Stans gets at least another year. If we do not, I think that Stricklin will get rid of him and bring a new coach in. I don't feel that we even deserve to be in the program. Truthfully, gun to head, no I do not want us to get into the Tournament, for the good of the program. (Sounds crazy right?)

And as far as a "personal insult" toward you, it was a bad attempt at a joke. You made the statement "I still like our potential if we get the shot."

That is the textbook definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. After watching this team **** the bed and play with zero effort or heart most of the season, how in the world can anyone say that they like our potential if we get to the tournament?

Right now, we have a chance to make the dance. We probably won't make it, but to be against us making it so that we can get rid of our coach is just wrong if you are a fan. Sports is about competition, and the chance to compete, not the smug sense that we are right about some SOB, is what we want right now.
