because AK and the Bears let us stay in the 2-3, keeping everyone rested. This let every starter but Riley (including #1) play 36 minutes or more. The way we play defense, I'm not buying that our zone was really unbeatable. They just seemed content to jack up their 35 3s (4 for 15 in the 2nd half) and hope for the best.

Needless to say, I didn't come away very impressed with the victory, unless whatever mojo we gained last night translates into more stamina and better man-to-man defense down the road.

To me it looks like it would be easy to get Sidney in foul trouble.

All we had to do was get the ball to Henry in the high post and have him take it to the rim, and we'd have racked up the fouls on Sidney. He doesn't move his feet well on defense. Of course we didn't do that because we play AAU ball, but any team with a decent coach and a somewhat athletic big man could've done that pretty easily.

We're not a very good team, nor are we very well coached. Fortunately though, there aren't many good teams in the SEC this year or many well-coached teams in the SEC either. Most of the SEC teams play the same brand of slop basketball.
