We won with what I suspect was

a somewhat gimpy QB after a couple of really hard shots in the game AND we won without having to play TR which I think was very important. We rarely, if ever, ran the option in the second half....don't think we wanted to risk losing Relf. It was a vanilla ugly win. If vanilla and ugly equals a win I will take it.....I have been around too many years to ***** about how we won a bowl game.

Looked like we didn't want to run Relf in the 2nd half. Our offense without a QB who is going to run is not going to be a good offense. The whole thing is built around the QB being a threat to run.<div>
