Easy call this week. High pressure builds in on Friday and it should be a glorious fall weekend in Bloomington, with mild and dry conditions - see the excerpt from the NWS in Indianapolis, below Temps will likely be just a tad on the cool side with highs around 60F (avg high/low is 66/44F on this date), but I don't think anyone will be complaining about that. Football weather. For those going, enjoy...

LONG TERM /WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY/...

ANOTHER HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO PUSH INTO THE AREA IN
THE WAKE OF THE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED COLD FRONT...RESULT IN MORE
DRY...COOL AND SEASONABLE FALL WEATHER NEXT WEEKEND.

Always nice not to have to pack the storm gear.
And nice to not have to sweat the details on this one, unlike some of our other games this year, which have gone down to the wire on rain potential on gameday (NSU, WSU and PSU, at least), . It's funny - getting some light rain showers on any random day means very little to most people, but when it happens during the tailgates/games, it becomes a huge deal.

Saturday still looks great, although perhaps a touch cooler than originally thought - highs may only be in the mid-50s, but with abundant sunshine, should still be a nice day. Going to get pretty cool Saturday night, with lows near freezing (might be upper 40s by the end of the game).

It's a gorgeous day for football in Bloomington. Plenty of sunshine and temps in the mid-50s for kickoff, but dropping in the upper 40s by the end of the game.

And peeking ahead, next Saturday looks like it could be really nice with a front coming through late on Thursday, bringing seasonable temps (normal high/low for 10/24 is 63/40F) and dry conditions for Friday through Sunday. Fingers crossed...
