Doesn't look promising. We could be looking at pair of 7 inning games Sunday. Chance of rain at 60% or over for all today and tomorrow.

Someone want to explain to me why a washout or two is a bad thing at this juncture?

I'll take a washout, but I don't want 7 inning games. Seems like we have lost every 7 inning game in the last 20 years. I'll leave it to someone else to confirm that.

I recall dropping a 7 inning DHer to UT several years back that really came back to bite us. That one still burns.

I'd actually prefer 7 innings for this weekend.

With our depleted rotation it would take a load off our bullpen. We would just try to outscore them for 7 innings instead of asking our pen for two extra.

Maybe if they start the games and we sit through delays, we can get into their bullpen. Our starters don't last long anyway.

Radar around Fayetteville looks clear now. The rain is to the south. So if the field's in good shape, looks like we're good to go tonight.

The system is in north Texas and Oklahoma tonight, so it probably won't wash out tonight's game.

But I would almost bank on a Sunday double header.
