Weather nerds....this outbreak wasn't forecasted today to my knowledge, and Dallas isn't

exactly due West of Jackson, but pretty close. What are the chances central MS get hit by tornadoes tomm?<div>
</div><div>Amazing no one has been reported being killed yet. The video of the tornado tossing those 18 wheeler trailers like they were small toys was unbelievable.</div>

The intensity of today's system certainly wasn't forecast that I heard. Forbes on TWC said he was expecting it to be mainly a linear event with perhaps weak tornadoes and straight line winds. His Tor:Con was pretty low (I think yesterday it was a 3). He said a couple of supercells developed that he wasn't expecting. Not sure what the Dallas NWS had forecast, but I don't recall hearing of anything of this magnitude.

Saw the 18 wheeler trailers flying ... that was amazing.

Tomorrow I would think that Mississippians should be on the watch, and even tonight it looks like things are developing right now. Probably not a huge threat, but it's there nevertheless.
