Wednesday night's game is huge for this season....

Sitting at 16-9, 6-4 in the SEC- we aren't a lock for anything yet- including the NIT

remaining schedule:

1. SC- highest scoring team in the SEC and also the leader in 3pt shooting. Not exactly good news for a team with suspect perimeter defense like us
2. @Bammer- they are struggling, but it is in their gym. And they would love to beat us
3. @Tennessee- we wont win this one
4. Auburn- while we will be favored, they are getting better and have guards that are more physical than ours. Their guards got to the FT line today as well as made shots.
5. Florida- good team and well-coached. Can win it but wont be easy
6. @Mississippi- they play hard and are well-coached. Tough to beat them there.

We could go anywhere from 4-2 to 1-5 down the stretch. This team has its work cut out for them.

Way to stick that neck out there...We are a top 60 team right now... The mid-majors would hate to see us... Unfortunately, i think we're doing the NIT thing this year... We've let our chances slip through our hands...

There will be many more opportunities for us to show our talent to the nation, and we need to show up. The better we look to our recruits, the better we will be...

Our team wins a few games, they get patted on the back, then we suck it up big time...New factoidamundo...little ricky can recruit wayyy better than he can coach. If he could coach, we would'nt have to rely on shooting 3 pointers as much. If I was coach of this team,I hate to think before every game.. Dang , I hope we on ,on our 3's tonight , cause if we aren't we gonna lose big time cause we suck on defense .

I agree it is a big next few games. I hate to say it but i think we could lose all of those games. But i think we will have at least one or two games where we make 12+ threes and blow someone out. I think we will win the home games and lose the away games. Looks like we will need to win the tournament to get into the NCAA tournament. I know I'm going out on a limb here (NOT).

time to quit posting at 4am

On the other hand, I, in no way think Rick is a good floor coach, but playing to our guards (3 pointers) is our best chance to win. Some nights we will hit them and kick ***. Other nights we will be off and get our asses kicked. It is the nature of the beast playing a 4 guard lineup. This team is really missing a Brandon Vincent type player to back Varnado up.

We are not a top 60 team.....our current RPI is around 85
