You do realize that Florida was a Spanish colony? I realize all the New York and New Jersey transplants have ruined the state but????

After multiple fails At that exact technique I figured out iPhones save images in HIEC and they have to be converted to jpeg. I had to download an app then convert, then post

Thanks for sharing. I had no clue IOS 11 and later was doing that... Seems like it would cause all kinds of problems across the interwebs. Seems like JPG and PNG are Mastercard and Visa... Accepted everywhere. Gif is Amex. Apple foisting HEIC without an option to change is like trying to pay with Bitcoin.... Only weirdos accept it

The easy way to post from a phone.

Type in your message and post in mobile view. Leave a couple lines if you want to post in between paragraphs. Like so...

After posting. Hit edit post. Then switch to full site view. Go to the line you want to post the picture and hit the picture icon and select photo. Upload and then save edit. Switch back to mobile version.

Ok. I tried this and it says that I edited the post but no picture loaded???

Yes I've taken basic history. What Spanish dishes does he cook for a tailgate? Not Mexican, not Cuban, but Spanish.

Your picture may be too large. Anything over 4 MB will not load. Or if as Jrobb pointed out, if you have a new iPhone running on ios11 or newer, it saves photos in some new format called HEIC. You would have to convert that to a jpg or png somehow. The last thing to look for is if you have the live motion photo setting on your phone camera (Take a picture and it is actually a 1-2 second video.)

it’s one of those “ old dawgs, new tricks” things. Computers will make your life easier they said. It’s pretty frustrating that a grown man with a college education can’t do things that come second hand to the average six year old.
