Thats odd, had 3 text me this week to meet up for beers after the game.. and those are 3 of the 4 I know.. their usual comment is "Crawford is a blowhard"

Not at all, unlike the other Coaler programs, their football usually lives up to their crazy fans expectations..
Yes, two years ago they had a few players jawing at our coaches and from what I heard, their coaches handled it.. good program ran the right way..

I hope he sticks around. His derogatory remarks don’t bother me in the least. I like the passion and the entertainment value.
It's harmless fun but I wish there was some new material. Starts out tame, then a slow boil, then a head explosion. Just too predictable these days.

And I never said 2015, I believe that was the year WIlmo beat us by 3 at our place and we caught a few breaks to keep the game that close..

Maybe Herscher was a sneaky good team those years but I think majority of people would say Wilmo was better in that time frame
Sneaky good???? In 2016 and 2017 they were top 5 4A teams and were better than Wilmo, in 2018 made the 3A semis.. in 2014 should have beat the Wilmo team that won 3A, but they did beat Mac in 4A..

Not sure how you can say Herscher was definitively better. Calpreps has a close Wilmington 2 point win. I’ll concede 2017.
I thought our 2016 squad was on par with the state team from 2 years earlier. They were just unfortunate to have to play what may be the best 3A team of all time in the quarterfinals.

I’m not saying they weren’t good. Just not sure how you can say as a matter of fact that they were clearly better than Wilmington that year.
