Bounce back by both teams, but we are in more disarray than the cheeseheads:

Wisconsin 28
Nebraska 17

Wisconsin's defense is no joke. Which QB shows up -good Stave or bad Stave?

Badgers 31
Huskers 20

Nebraska can win with a strong run game. Its a lost cause if Riley is counting on Armstrong to scorch the Wisconsin secondary.

24-20 the Huskers! You have a five hundred coach so you need a win to get to 500.

Has tom not seen wisconsins defense. Neb will struggle to score more than 10 points. I wouldn't be shocked if we get shut out.

Yea, I have been pretty busy with work and coaching for one and have been kind of lurking and not posting for another. I figured I would actually voice my opinion a little......but I would like nothing more than to see a dramatic turnaround and to see this staff shut me the hell up.....Cool. Glad to hear everything is going well on your end.

Toss up. If we actually call run plays, we win. If we call the offense like last week......LONG GAME. Passing wasn't working, yet we tried to force it. It blows my mind how often we tried to force the pass last week.

I want to believe we won't force the pass as much this week, but I honestly think the staff will continue forcing it. Take Newby out, leave Jano and Oz in and run it more and we can win.

I predict a loss, another close game. Wisconsin isn't good, and neither is their defense. Talent wise, we are better. Our defense should be our weak point, but offense last week was just as bad. Poor play calling, dropped passes, poor time management. HCMR said the last pass we threw was supposed to be a QB run. Why? Give it to the back to move N/S or a rollout pass, which that call wouldn't have been ideal, but the defense was overplaying the run, and a designed pass may have worked. Though, as a HS coach, I would have kept the clock going, and punt (we don't have a kicker who kicks that far). Give them as little time as possible, low-risk.

Prediction: we lose a close one.

Optimism: HCMR adapts and adjusts. We utilize the run game more, Jano and Oz more. Less Newby.

Yes, because our run game has been a strength all year. SickSick

I have seen nothing to indicate we can stay within 14 points of Wisconsin.[/B]

31-14 Wisky, and the game won't be as close as that score.
Stave. He's not good at all, and if he has even a little bit of an off day, then they can be beat. They have like three OL that are freshman. So there's a chance. And herkie's pedestrian offense was able to move on them.

I picture a pelini type blowout, the boos will rain down on the players and coaches and the stands will be somewhat full at kick off and 3/4 empty after half.

Prove me wrong, but i think this team is going under and Mike will not have the ability to right the ship.

This is the death nell of Husker football
