I liked the CC quarterback and really thought they had a chance this year to win 4 or 5 games. Albemarle has some injuries and has to learn how to win again. Coaching teams in a rebuilding mode is never easy. You win...kids shine. You struggle...kids quit, generate unnecessary penalties, etc. CC can score the 24, imo. It depends on the AHS offense. Only three 1A schools in NC have scored fewer points this year. CC is averaging almost 24 points a game. AHS is scoring 7 per game. I still think AHS wins...but, it isn't a cupcake.

The game was postponed until tonight due to lightning last night. The game just ended and South Stanly won 20-14.
Someone had entered the score into maxpreps last night as 13-7. Did they get started last night?
South Davidson got stopped on 4th and goal at the 2 yard line with about 50 seconds left on the clock. They competed really hard. Good game.
Yea play was stopped with 4 mins to go in 3rd qtr last night. Finished this evening
Nothing worse than being close to finishing a game only to have weather come into play.
SD only had one TD called back. SS had 5 TDs called back. Also Green, the running back was injured for SS.
Sd hsd 2 tds called back. SS had 5 called back. But in all honesty. All called back seemed to be correct calls except one on ss. I think ss is a pretty good team. I dont know that sd could play ss close everytime but it was a specisl night. Number 24 for sdhs Damon Hill is a really good player
South davidsons defense coordinator this year is John Shelton. Who led South Davidson to winning seasons from 2003 through 2005. As head coach

#24 was a very good player. I enjoyed seeing his heart left on the field. The exciting one to watch was #3 for South Stanly. That kid is really special.
