Agreed.I don't know that I have ever liked our path in any projection. Change it.
Percentage wise of Mac being in 4A or 3A
Willowbrook looks pretty locked in. I count 12 lower enrollment qualifiers before WBrook(1912), That includes Batavia(1899), Rolling Meadows(1899), Hersey(1864), Hoffman(1907) and Delkalb(1840), Plus another handful of lower seeds Not including ESL and Nazareth who are opted up,How is Willobrook in 7A? Is it possible they will drop to 6A?
Interesting...for some reason I thought WB had many less enrolled. I think I saw someone post somewhere on here that they only had something like 1400.Willowbrook looks pretty locked in. If I am reading this right, it looks like you have OPRF losing 2 of final 3. Is that right? I don't see any losses in their last 3, let alone 2 (Lyons, Glenbard W, York)
So....Evanston is ranked higher than New Trier? Who they lost to? New Trier vs Maine South looks as likely CSL South championship, which could murk up the projections still?
But how in the heck does BR, get the top seed when we are all contemplating LEE vs the field as darn near a losing possibility?lol

I'll get right on it.I don't know that I have ever liked our path in any projection. Change it.
Nope. I have Andrew with a projected record of 6-3.In 7a, Andrew High School listed as the 26 seed. That would mean you have 6a Thornwood (1-5) beating them this week. Not sure about the reasoning here....
I project all of the remaining games. So, I'd project the same teams I have currently listed. This changes when I project incorrectly, which happens more than I like it to.If you had to project, Who will be the lowest 8A enrollment and the highest 7A, what is your cutoff? I see Simeon is there now, how about in 3 weeks?
What this guy said.....Most likely scenario is 6-3. They win 2 of their last 3 but lose to the Hitters.
Bishop McNamara is currently the smallest school in 4A. So it is pretty much a straight toss-up.Percentage wise of Mac being in 4A or 3A

By record:How many 5-4 teams do you project in the 8A playoffs?
I think this was an error that was never corrected. I noticed it early on when the AP voting had them in 6, I've had them in 7 all along, but the error never got corrected.Interesting...for some reason I thought WB had many less enrolled. I think I saw someone post somewhere on here that they only had something like 1400.
I'm feeling slightly better, but you hurt my feelings by not believing in West against HC. (SF)

By record:
9-0: 43, 8-1: 43, 7-2: 51, 6-3: 75, 5-4: 44
The 4A South is a good example of the "real world" limits of the IHSA's seeding criteria. NO WAY should Rochester be seeded anywhere but #1....
To sum it all up: I'll take an 8-1, 7-2 or even a 6-3 Rochester team over a 9-0 Paris or Breese Mater Dei team.
Strength of schedule...nearly impossible to properly measure, but we all know it exists for teams who play a schedule of bigger schools (usually). Rochester only plays one 4A opponent. Even more glaring could be 5-4 in the north: Aurora Christian in 1A and Rock Island Alleman in 3A...McNamara in 3A is the likely favorite, top 4 in 4A - but could have some traditional matchups if they go north...
But there is no other way to seed schools than the way the IHSA is doing it. It is impossible to rate 10 team round robin conferences; similar issues abound to rate CPS schools. We will have, as a result, some 16 seeds make it to the championship game...
Not a good one. But I can see a path.Is there a chance rockford boylan drops to 4a
90 percentWhat percentage chance in your opinion does Kaneland stay 6a?
1) Record
2) Playoff points (opponents wins)
I don’t believe head to head is taken into account nor are opinions expressed on this board.
