VHSL came out with guidelines this week. All unplayed games have to be either no contest or forfeit and decided by next week Oct. 15 so you will probably see alot more forfeits from earlier in season. At that point with 3 weeks left in season everyone should no if they can make it up by then. According to VHSL no contest has to mutual. If not mutual Covid team has to forfeit to team not affected by Covid. Once again I may be a point or two off on teams while trying to figure out who cancels and who forfeits. Like don't see Luray having time to make up Central so Luray would have to take another forfeit. Below I put my final prediction for region C for those interested like Oldfool.

Their only loss was to Hidden Valley 3A who was undefeated until losing to strong 5a Patrick Henry last night. They beat 3A Cave Springs. I think the two would be pretty comparable to Heritage and Rustburg . They dominated Floyd last night who was 4-1 second in their district. Again pretty comparable to Appo Gretna game last night. Both could be second in each district and Glenvar and Appo beat them big by almost same margin last night. Just don't know how competitive Radford will be against Glenvar is only game left really this season. Glenvar-Appo regional championship game may be the next time either needs it's starters to play second half.

So we are on the same page (same information), we have different numbers for a few of these:

Luray: you have 20.4, I have 20.0.

I have: MV: 18, BG:26, PC:24, SK:22, SD:10

We have a difference of 2 points.

Strasburg: I don't know if you did absolute current, as I did Win or Lose.

Buckingham: you have 18.5, I have 17.5.

I have: FL: 10, PE: 22, BLS: 18, RH: 20

We have a difference in 4 points

East Rockingham: I had made a mistake on mine and updated mine. You had the same rating I did.

I now have 14.00 and you have 14.25

I have: CW: 10, BG:10, TA:12, PC:24

Buffalo Gap is where I was off (my guess is I didn't update my score sheet with that one JV game being Varsity on Max . So we have a difference of 1 point.

I imagine we will both be off from VHSL tomorrow when they come out until these PPD/CND/FORFEIT games are settled.

They gave no points for canceled games. Some I know where forfeit. I expect they waiting until Oct. 15 to include them games. That's deadline for each school to make a decision. Don't see many of them getting made up. Will be interesting to see who gets forfeits and who doesn't.

I hear the Gretna vs Chatham game might be made up. Playing on a Monday or Tuesday after a Friday game isn't good. This game should be a no contest, or a forfeit win for Gretna.

Not real sure whoever comes out of C is going to be all that this year. Could have sworn somebody was playing tonight but cant find out who.

The Raiders will be in the mix. Got to figure that C will come down to them and Glenvar, but you never know.
Imagine region D will be the strongest top to bottom come playoff time.
Can the Raiders win out and face the winner of D again, I guess we will see. We took a big hit with our QB having that injury right off the bat. He aint 100% by any means, but his 80-85% is still pretty good. But the real lose is how he can contribute defensively.
